WOLVERINE OLD WEST SOCIETY

| The Wolverine Old West Society is a group of
Michigan reenactors and living historians representing the period
1859-1890 and dedicated to the preservation of our unique heritage of
the Old West. The Wolverine Old West Society is committed to
authenticity in dress and presentation, endeavoring to portray the
people and events of the wild and wooly old west in an entertaining and
enlightening manner. Our skits and scenarios include shoot-out both
serious and not so serious, cowboy poetry and portrayals of famous and
not so famous characters of the period.
Our main goal is the entertainment of our audience. The Wolverine Old West Society is affiliated with and a member of AFOWR, the American Federation of Old West Reenactors, a nationwide sanctioning organization for reenactment and living history competitions and is also affiliated with the Wolverine Rangers which is a Michigan statewide cowboy action shooting association.
